People where still eating when staff came to start collecting plates making it very uncomfortable that they handed their unfinished meals to them. The food was bland and not fresh, the atmosphere was awful because everyone in their being rushed. We spent a little over 140 pounds to be rushed out within an hour.
So upsetting as we saved this money to give my daughter a lovely birthday meal and it was completely ruined by the restaurant themselves!!

It's a shame that a once such lovely place could lose its standards so drastically!!

I will never be going back again or recommending to others like I used to.

To the management. I hope you enjoyed taking our money for such a pathetic effort. You should be ashamed!!

The service was great and the pizza and pasta bolognese arrived within 10 minutes of placing our order. We really enjoyed the food, and would definitely recommend it. I particularly liked the atmosphere in the restaurant, it felt like a real Italian experience!

  • star rating  I am a little bit confused by this restaurant. On walking in, it appears to be, as other reviews advise, a lovely traditional Italian restaurant, the likes of which you... read more dont now see too many of. The welcome is warm and inviting, the atmosphere is bustling and the place appears to be run by Italians. All of this clearly lulled me into a false sense of security. Expecting a delicious, freshly cooked pizza base garlic bread, smothered in garlic infused Olive Oil, what I got was 3 soggy, luke warm baguette slices, which barely tasted of garlic and were hardly cooked. Whilst still in this false sense of security, I had ordered a Quattro Stagioni Pizza. I must say upfront that each of the Pizzas, including mine, had the ingredients listed on the menu. I HADN'T read them - my fault, but I wouldnt read a menu to see if a Chicken Kiev had garlic in it! When I queried with the owner that the chef had forgotten to put any ham on my 'Quattro Stagioni', he advised me that the Quattro Stagioni was their Vegetarian Pizza. I did then politely suggest that he should call it that on the menu and not call it something that it's clearly not. I must add, the service was very quick and the staff were attentive. The restaurant is peculiar - they seem to have got some things so very right and some things so very wrong, hence I can understand the very mixed reviews.
